  while technically part of Asia, the countries of the Middle East present some of the greatest challenges to global evangelisation. The religion here is predominantly Islam and many of the nations of the Middle East are intolerant of Christianity.

  however, the Arabic, Jewish and Turkic blocs, stretching across most of central Asia, presents great opportunities for those who can master difficult languages and customs.
